The main objective of the research is based on analyzing the predictive power of the basic psychological needs and the factors of the Model Decision-Making Style on intrinsic motivation. The study was conducted with a sample of 132 subjects, of whom 63 were boys and 69 were girls, aged between 12 and 16. We administered the Sport Motivation Scale (SMS), the Scale of Motivational Mediators in Sport (EMMD) and guest Decision Making Styles in Sport (CETD). We conducted a regression analysis in three steps by establishing the dependent variable intrinsic motivation. The results showed that only factors decisional commitment to learning, social relationships and competence significantly predicted intrinsic motivation and positive, not so happening with the factors of anxiety and overwhelmed decisional, perceived competence and autonomy. Finally the results are discussed in satisfy basic psychological needs, in order to increase intrinsic motivation and develop a number of strategies in order to alleviate the fears and apprehensions of the players before the decisional moments, as well the athletes can acquire sufficient responsibility to continue to improve from the point of view of decision making.
