The purpose of this study was to provide knowledge in the specific field of Portugal, specifically in a sample of adolescents Portuguese (n = 1593), about the observed relationship between Sport Practice (PD) and Subjective Well-being (BS). Method: The cognitive component of BS was evaluated by the SWLS (Diener, Emmons, Larsen, y Griffin, 1985), and the affective component was evaluated by the PANAS (Watson, Clark, y Tellegen, 1988). Conclusions: The results showed differences between adolescents who practiced sport and the index of BS, suggesting that the rate of BS increases with the frequency of PD in adolescents Portuguese, this index is more significant in the group of girls, and revealing in turn greater in the PD group of boys and decline in same with the age only in the group of girls.
