Abstract

Juan Antonio Mora Mérida, Jaime Díaz Ocejo, Eduardo Elósegui Bandera

the current study presents a bibliographical revision on the research addressing the cognitive strategies in individual sports and raquet/combat sports. Results show that there is a bigger amount of works that have addressed the individual sports if compared to those oriented to raquet/combat sports. The atentional strategy offers the highest percentage among all the strategies revised. Furthermore, it has been found that the relaxation strategies percentage in both kinds of sports is remarkable lower than what has been shown in previous revisions.
