The objective of this study is to construct a tool to evaluate the quality perceived in university sports services organizations. For data analysis, the statistical software SPSS v.21 and the FACTOR program were used. Internal consistency analysis and exploratory of two different samples were performed. The instrument used was the QUNISPORT v. mx, is a scale with five answer choices, which consists of 44 items and 5 factors:(1) Functionality and comfort of university sports areas; (2) trainer interaction; (3) sport services management; (4) characteristics of sport activities program; (5) environment and comfortableness of bath and dressing rooms. The questionnaire was applied to 1102 participants distributed in 4 main university sports centers of the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León (México). Pertinent indicators were adequate (KMO = .963, Bartlett's test of sphericity p < .5). Pearson´s correlation matrix was used for factorial analysis. The results showed that 5 factors explained 58.8% of the total variance. The Cronbach's Alpha for factors are above .90, which shows a satisfactory response and reflects the covariation of the items. The factorial structure results show adequate indexes CFI=.91, NNFI .88 and RMSEA =0.058; the chi square/gl=4.74. The QUNISPORT v.mx questionnaire presents adequate psychometric properties, fulfills the needs and optimizes the resources of the university community, obtaining continuing quality improvement of university sport services in México.
