The Effect of Communication Factors on the Level of Community Resilience in Dealing with Disaster at Pangandaran Regency

Natural disasters, such as floods, landslides, tornadoes, and earthquakes, often occur in several villages of Pangandaran Regency, resulting in damage to both property and live. To overcome this problem, volunteers from various communities often carry out socialization and disaster simulations to strengthen community resilience in villages. The objective of this research is to determine the effect of communication factors, consisting of communicator and message, on the level of community resilience in facing disasters. Furthermore, the explanatory survey method was used and data were obtained through questionnaires, interviews, as well as literature studies. A sample size of 124 was obtained using stratified random sampling. The data were then analyzed using path analysis.
